The Serenella Tender, designed as a collaborative project between Schwalgien Yacht Design and Cantieri Motonautico Serenella, a traditional Italian boat builder founded in 1975.
They limit themselves to create only three of these precious boats each year.
Built out of solid mahogany, these boats are one of Venice’s iconic symbols.
And for good reason. Robert Speltz once said, "If you would own a Bentley or Rolls Royce in London, in Venice it most likely would be one of the famous 30-foot sedan launches".
The tender's clean, classic elegant, and sophisticated lines characterize this motorboat, which is truly a jewel of Italian craftsmanship. The entire boat is fully custom-made, including the accessories, details, and trim, and is the result of decades of artisan craftsmanship.
The high-gloss, luscious mahogany exterior is beautifully mirrored in the interior. Finished in the same high gloss style as the outside, the grain and texture of the wood pop and invite you to touch it and explore this warm natural material.
Every detail was carefully considered, designed, and custom built to perfectly match the owner’s wishes. Fabrics covering the seating, accessories, and trim.
Keeping in theme with its historic value, the mood of the interior reminds of a midcentury lounge setting. Spacious sofas with integrated trays for refreshments seat up to 8 people, alongside with a pair of Eames lounge chairs.
The craftsmanship and artisanal traditions are blended with modern technology to ensure that while the boat stays true to its heritage, it is always up to date with the best that the marine industry has to offer.
The project is unique for a number of reasons: the limited run of boats produced, the craftsmanship and artisanal quality of the build throughout the exterior and interior, as well as SYD ’s touch when it comes to creating an exquisite interior that aligns both with the heritage of the Italian Boat builder and Venice, as well as implementing the client’s wishes.
