Feature Sundeck Crew Lounge & Gym

For the first time an entire Exterior Deck has been dedicated as recreational area to the crew.

The multifunctional space combines the lounge area with generous L-shaped custom designed sofas and the Exterior Gym-  both naturally merged into each other.

There is a sun bathing area which is also perfect for yoga sessions.

This project is very special to us because we got the opportunity to design the vessel inside & outside plus also develop the fully custom superyacht tender Shadow Kitten (12m Cat).

We were able to bring extra value to the vessel in terms of design

consistency -  on Nebula the yacht interior speaks the same design language as the exterior.

With her detailed design approach, Nebula has been Astilleros Armon Shipyard’s most tailor-made support vessel yet

Design Concept

Starting from the Armon platform Cat we aimed to create an exterior design that would accentuate and create more visual movement and a sharper silhouette.

A two tone colour scheme was developed : a light grey tone on the sleeker more contoured surfaces, and a darker grey tone on the flatter elements to push them visually in the background creating a play on light and shadows.

The accent colour yellow which is used on the client’s helicopter,
He is intended to break up the utilitarian look of the yacht and to give a recognizable presence.

Feature Heli Hangar

Nebula is one of the only yachts in the world to accommodate an EC145 Helicopter in her heli hanger without having her rotor blades folded. This allows incredibly efficient and safer heli operations without disturbing life on the motherships.

The hanger solves the main issue of transporting the helicopter during longer passages which many superyachts cannot do. This is really an exceptional feature in Nebula that is equivalent to superyachts in much bigger lengths. The Hangar is a extremely large volume, which on a normal yacht would be taken out from accommodation space.
